PRIVACY POLICY
We receive, collect and store any information that you willingly enter on our website or you personally provide us in any other way.
The safety of our online community is hugely important to us therefore, we ask that members are honest with who they are and respectful in their forum behaviour. This is facilitated by each member creating a unique log in of their choice, using an email address, Facebook profile or Google profile. We may also ask for a contact name and email address when you sign up to our mailing list or register for an event. We also use this provided email address to give you full member access to our events listings, news board and discussion forum. We will also use it to keep you up to date via our monthly newsletter.
That’s it. We don’t share your contact details with anybody else for any other purpose - that’s a promise.
In addition, we collect the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, lengths of visits to certain pages and page interaction information.
This helps us to understand what pages the community is using the most, find the most helpful and from where in the world our online community gathers. This data is automatically deleted after 26 months.
Our community is hosted on the Wix.com platform.
Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our tickets and provide our online members services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
If you purchase a ticket to one of our events online, it is currently via the secure payment service PayPal, hosted on the Wix.com platform, unless you otherwise specify. We do not store your payment details outside that transaction. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our community adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our ticketing system and its service providers.
If you have any questions, concerns, don’t want us to process your data anymore or would like to report any forum behaviour that concerns you, please be in touch via our contact page.
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect as of their posting on the website. If we make any material changes to our policy, we will notify you here of the update so that you continue to be aware of what information we collect and how we use it.
