About The Event
As ever, as a community and as individuals, we’ve faced a number of challenges this year and, no doubt - by choice or by chance - they’ll be on the agenda for 2025 too.
In this space, we will hear from five of our community members a story on how they worked through - or are working through - a hard thing. The theme points are:
Fail • Reset • Journey • Unexpected • Resilience
These stories are about moving through perfectionism, health crises, grief, loss and redundancy with our work selves, our physical selves and our emotional selves. Some of them stem from decisions we made, others from circumstances we found ourselves in.
We’ve selected that funny time between Christmas and New Year as a point of reflection, so we invite you to join us in this space to listen, learn and contribute as we bring 2024 to land and get our pens at the ready for writing our 2025.
House Rules
- This is a feminine/nonbinary-first space; whilst the invitation to join us is non-exclusive, these are the voices that will be championed.
- It is expected that the views and experiences of all guests will be diverse and as such, discourse will be respectful of this. If an attendee is unable to be respectful and polite, they will be asked to leave.
- The topics, as indicated above, may be triggering for some individuals, as we get into them. If at any point you wish or need to leave, you are welcome to do so, this is a no-judgement space.
